ABOUT THE CHAPTER BOARD

To serve on the Chapter Board is an opportunity for Credit Union Professionals to be seen out in the community.
It is your chance to volunteer, to serve our community, and to spread the Credit Union Movement. It is also your chance to connect with tons of people you have something in common with--Credit Unions!
Serving on the Chapter Board is a unique and rewarding experience for anyone looking to get involved and meet new people. Your service provides exposure to different leadership styles, corporate cultures, and business models. It expands your perspective, training you to see issues from a board-level point of view, while also giving you recognition as a leader within the credit union movement.
Plus, we love to have fun!
Time commitment is limited--so it can work for anyone's schedules. We have an hour meeting once per month. If you cannot make the meetings in person, we always offer virtual capabilities, and we clearly communicate meeting minutes to keep everyone involved. Every few months, we hold events to raise money for different charities, as well as volunteer out in the community.
