On Sunday, we had the opportunity to meet with GoWest’s CEO, Troy Stang, at Mid Oregon CU’s East Bend Branch. It’s not often he makes it to Central Oregon, so it was great to get to connect with him!
We talked for quite a while about a wide array of topics, including: what is GoWest, what does Troy do for the Credit Union Movement in legislature, how can we help, and how do our Credit Unions ensure we are serving our communities. We even had some spouses join us! Troy was incredibly accommodating with his message, looping in those “Credit Union-Adjacent” individuals in on the conversation. Following the meet and greet, we headed next door as a group to enjoy some food and drinks together. It was a wonderful Sunday! Thanks to everyone who made it out to give Troy a warm welcome. Especially thank you to Troy for making the time to meet with us while he was in the area! Find out more about GoWest on their website.
